Let me preface this by saying that I am not a dancer. This class is deceptively fun. While having fun and dancing to upbeat music you’ll find yourself surprised that you’re getting a real sweat in. Jared’s energy is second to none and his teaching style is friendly and never judgemental. I originally purchased the intro classes because I had wanted to try one of the specialty Ariana Grande classes and after my two-class trail I was hooked and have been coming back ever since.

I started Pop Queen Cardio looking for a positive outlet where I could not only get my body moving but also relieve some stress, especially during these times. Pop Queen Cardio is absolutely for everyone, whether you have danced all your life or never taken a dance class before. Jared’s positive attitude, professionalism, and motivating nature makes these classes fun and engaging even through a computer screen. I am thrilled to be part of the Pop Queen Cardio family and am excited to keep on dancing!

  • What is a Pop Queen Cardio class like?
    Pop Queen Cardio is dance fitness to pop music that will leave you feeling energized and empowered. It is an opportunity for one solid hour to get out of your mind and into your body. We focus on repetitive choreography that allows you to pick up on patterns. Each weekly class will have its own set of songs repeated week after week. This way you have a chance to pick up on the steps and really get into that sweat! It has been dubbed as the most fun you will have sweating!
  • I’ve never danced before. Can I take this class?
    Absolutely! No dance background is required, everyone is welcome! We always say this class is not about being a technically trained perfect dancer. It is about the cardio workout, having fun and feeling empowered.
  • What is the class format?
    Follow-the-leader style cardio dance. Combining fun and easy to follow steps that will keep your heart rate up. The movement is repetitive. You are looking for patterns where each verse is the same and each chorus is the same. We dance to about 10-12 tracks that are the same each week so you can catch on. We add a new routine monthly to keep it fresh!
  • What do I need for class?
    Wear comfortable indoor runners. Please no bare feet, we don’t want you to get stepped on and injured! Water bottle is highly recommended. Some people bring a small towel to wipe off between songs. We aren’t lying when we say, you will get sweaty!
  • What is your cancellation and refund policy?
    All drop-ins and packages are non-refundable. During COVID, we have relaxed our cancellation policy to be able to cancel within 8 hours in advance of class to keep your class credit. If you cancel less than 8 hours to class or if you don’t show up, you will lose the class credit.
  • How do I cancel a class?
    Login to your account, head to Classes and select the option to cancel.
  • I’m on the waitlist, what happens now?
    You will be notified via email if a spot becomes available. If you do not receive any notification, no spot has become available. In which case, your class will remain credited to your account.
  • I see people wearing merch! How do I get my hands on some?
